​Hi, I’m Mieke Verduijn, op dit moment ben ik even een stukje fruit, maar als ik bijgewerkt word dan ben ik een lieve mooie en karaktervolle pianist waar de violist van het trio erg blij mee is <3
Biografie
Mieke Verduijn-Glasbergen (*1996) started pianolessons at the age of 9. At the age of 16 she did the preparatory class of the HKU Conservatory in Utrecht, with Henry Kelder aspianoteacher. In the years after that, she studied at a teacher training college and parallel tothat followed pianolessons with pianist Andrew Wright. In the period 2017-2019 she did theminor education at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag, she completed this minor Cum Laude. Since september 2018, Mieke studies classical piano at this conservatory in Den
Haag, with Slava Poprugin as main subject teacher.
Mieke won two first prizes at the Keuris Competition in Amersfoort, in 2014 (solo) and in 2019
(chamber music). She took masterclasses with different pianists, among others Vladimir Tropp, Denys Proschay
ev, Frank Braley and Wibi Soerjadi. Next to investing in her solo piano playing, Mieke is really dedicated to playing chambermusic in different settings. She also spends much attention to her piano teaching practice in
Gouda, where she teaches around 30 children and teenagers, varying from a beginning to a more advanced level.
