The award-winning Brioso Trio was formed in 2019 during the members’ studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. From the very beginning they shared a deep commitment and enthusiasm for the piano trio. Brioso (lively, full of fire) became not only their name, but also the essence of their identity as an ensemble. After a cherished period with co-founder and pianist Mieke Verduijn, the trio will continue with pianist Jurn Tjoa.
